Steve Turton is an Adjunct Professor of Environmental Geography at Central Queensland University. He previously held senior academic roles at James Cook University, including Professor and Director positions. Steve has served in leadership roles at the Institute of Australian Geographers and the Australian Academy of Science’s National Committee for Geographical Sciences, and contributed as an Expert Reviewer to the IPCC Assessment Reports (Working Group II) on climate impacts and adaptation.
