3. Data Scientist
Design and implement AI models for extracting information, create and manage data pipelines, collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI solutions into existing systems, and continuously optimize and enhance AI models for enhanced performance and accuracy

• Model deployment: develop and deploy AI models for information retrieval from unstructured PDF files, using Python, LangChain, Hugging Face, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) techniques

What are we looking for?
• Subject matter expertise - deep knowledge of sustainability issues, including circular economy, ESG, energy, and climate change. You’ll need to keep pace with industry developments to ensure our content remains sharp and relevant
• Editing and writing experience - at least 3 years’ experience in editing and writing, with a proven ability to refine complex pieces and provide constructive feedback. You should be comfortable making suggestions that elevate the quality and impact of our content
• Editorial and community building experience - experience in editorial strategy, marketing, or community engagement. We want someone who can produce content that not only informs but also builds an engaged community of readers
• Native/Bilingual English proficiency - exceptional command of English to produce and edit high-quality, polished content

6. Head of Product
Drive our sustainability data solutions to market, obsessively pursuing product-market fit by conducting market and customer research, tracking product performance, and collaborating with design, data, and tech teams to create outstanding business customer experiences in the fast-paced sustainability industry.
What will you do?
• Develop product strategies: lead the go-to-market strategy development process for our newest products, and launch our products into the market
• Market and customer research: analyze our competitors and speak to our customers to understand their needs, identify ways we can differentiate and achieve Product Market Fit
• Monitor product performance: perform customer analysis, find ways to improve performance, generate reports and presentations on results findings
• Lead design and tech development: translate customer and market inputs into actionable designs and tech sprint plans, coordinating with the engineering team to build winning customer experiences
illuminem just raised funds to replicate its information success and become a leader in B2B sustainability data. You will be responsible for (1) achieving PMF for our new product, the first sales tool for sustainability solutions (data.illuminem.com), and (2) developing the buy-side interface of our data platform to help corporations choose sustainability products/services.
What are we looking for?
• Reliability - you will be trusted with key responsibilities from Day 1
• Experience - minimum of 4+ years experience in a product-related role
• Interpersonal skills - solid communication skills to engage with customers, stakeholders, tech, data, and design, as well as directly with the C-Suite

7. Media Account Manager
Partner with clients to create impactful sustainability media content and manage all aspects of content delivery and client relations. Coordinate and oversee webinar logistics, ensuring a smooth client experience from start to finish
What will you do?
• Partnership: partner with clients to achieve their strategic goals by creating relevant media content in sustainability and climate-related issues (e.g., webinars, thought leadership articles, etc.)
• Liaison: act as the key point of contact for clients, ensuring the flawless execution of deliverables, maintaining and expanding existing relationships

8. Media Operations Intern (minimum 6 months internship)
Streamline our publishing workflow and enhance our content strategy with data-driven insights. Boost editorial efficiency, support content curation, enhance SEO, and leverage automation to maximize the reach and impact of illuminem’s sustainability content
What will you do?
• Optimize publishing workflows: audit and refine our current processes—curation, formatting, CMS integration—proposing automation (AI summaries, bulk uploads, templates) to speed things up
• Support editorial operations: collaborate with the editorial team to ensure quality and consistency, upload and format articles, apply style guidelines, and tag metadata
• Drive automation & efficiency: research and implement smart tools (e.g., summarizers, CMS plugins), and create guides to support team adoption
• Shape content strategy: analyze engagement metrics to identify high-performing topics, formats, and publishing times, and deliver reports with actionable insights
• Boost audience engagement: use analytics, A/B testing, and feedback to understand reader behavior, and suggest personalization and interactive formats to increase retention
