1. Climate Fellow (6 months flexible internship)
A unique opportunity to gain first-hand experience in sustainability at the heart of an organization globally renowned for its impact and greentech solutions. Work in sustainability information, data analysis, and specific projects, collaborating with diverse teams for a comprehensive learning experience. Contribute to a more sustainable future while expanding your expertise across multiple facets of our industry

What will you do?
• Dream and achieve big: engage with the best sustainability professionals, experts and activists in relevant fields. Foster their involvement in our projects, enriching our content with diverse perspectives and insights
Understand what matters: identify the key trends of the sector to guarantee top-notch content quality for our readers
Empower our newsletters: curate and deliver cutting-edge sustainability and energy insights, ensuring our readers stay well-informed and engaged
Data collection and acquisition: gather data from various sources including databases, spreadsheets, APIs, and other data repositories, and develop processes or scripts for automated data collection where applicable
Data cleaning and quality assurance: clean and process data to make it suitable for analysis. Establish and enforce data quality standards and best practices. Monitor data quality metrics and perform periodic audits to ensure compliance

2. Data Entry Specialist (6 months internship)
Research sustainability performance by evaluating metrics across industries. Gather data from diverse sources and automate collection processes. Clean and process data, ensure quality standards, and analyze data to unlock unique insights on company sustainability

What will you do?
• Data collection and acquisition:
gather data from various sources including databases, spreadsheets, APIs, and other data repositories, and develop processes or scripts for automated data collection where applicable
• Data cleaning and quality assurance: clean and process data to make it suitable for analysis. Establish and enforce data quality standards and best practices. monitor data quality metrics and perform periodic audits to ensure compliance
Research sustainability performance: research performance metrics across various sustainability dimensions for companies across certain industries

What are we looking for?
Skills - experience with data entry and the use of excel
Diligence - you will be doing analysis that will require attention to detail and accuracy
Enthusiasm - your enthusiasm will be pivotal to dream and disrupt the ESG information industry forever!
Reliability - you will be trusted and given key responsibilities from Day 1

3. Data Scientist
Design and implement AI models for extracting information, create and manage data pipelines, collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI solutions into existing systems, and continuously optimize and enhance AI models for enhanced performance and accuracy

What will you do?
Model deployment:
develop and deploy AI models for information retrieval from unstructured PDF files, using Python, LangChain, Hugging Face, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) techniques
Data pipeline development: build and maintain data pipelines using Python
Collaboration: collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI solutions into existing systems
Model optimisation: continuously optimize and enhance AI models for performance and accuracy

What are we looking for?
Python expertise - strong proficiency in Python
Information Retrieval - experience in information retrieval from unstructured sources
AI library experience - hands-on experience with LangChain and Hugging Face libraries
RAG knowledge - familiarity with Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) methods
Flexibility - ability to work independently and as part of a team
Reliability - immediately assume key responsibilities from Day 1, evidencing your dependability and capability in essential roles
English skills - Strong English speaking and writing skills


4. Full Stack Developer
Build and integrate new pages and functionalities, maintain and improve current products, develop and deploy backend microservices, and contribute to the architecture design for new product releases

What will you do?
Front end
Web development: develop new pages and features with Next.js, React.js, and any other technology you find appropriate
Maintenance and support: develop enhancements and solve problems in existing products

Back end
Microservices backend development: design and implement backend microservices in mainly Node.js

Architecture
Architecture design: support the architecture development for a new product release (login, user engagement, customization, content ranking, platformization, etc.)

Must-Have Skills:
• Proficiency in Node.js, React.js, Next.js, Git
• Experience in creating and managing APIs
• Dedication to clean, efficient, and well-documented code
• Positive "can-do" attitude and excellent English communication skills

Nice-to-have skills:
• Familiarity with Cloud AWS, Docker, PostgreSQL and MongoDB

NB: we don’t expect you to do all of them! We have positions for each point on the list, but if you rock in more than one thing it’s even better!

5. Marketing Associate (email)
Create and execute compelling email marketing campaigns, collaborating with content teams to craft engaging designs. Manage email segmentation, conduct performance analyses, and optimize engagement

What will you do?
Marketing campaigns: develop and execute engaging email marketing campaigns that resonate with our audience and drive conversion
Collaboration: Collaborate with the content teams to create compelling copy, design, and layouts for email campaigns
• Strategizing: segment and personalize email lists to target specific audiences, optimizing open and click-through rates
• Campaign management: manage email schedules, ensuring timely delivery of campaigns while maintaining consistency with broader marketing strategies
• Campaign analysis: monitor campaign performance, analyze key metrics, and implement improvements to enhance results

What are we looking for?
Detail oriented - a creative and detail-oriented marketer with experience in crafting engaging email campaigns
Writing skills - strong writing skills with the ability to develop compelling messaging that drives audience engagement and conversions
Organizational skills and multitasking: excellent organizational skills, capable of juggling multiple email campaigns and deadlines while ensuring high-quality execution
Email management: proven track record in managing email marketing tools and platforms, with a focus on segmentation, personalization, and performance tracking
• Team player - a collaborative team player with a passion for sustainability, able to incorporate sustainability messaging into email content aligned with broader marketing strategies and business goals

6. Media Account Management Associate
Partner with clients to create impactful sustainability media content and manage all aspects of content delivery and client relations. Coordinate and oversee webinar logistics, ensuring a smooth client experience from start to finish

What will you do?
Partnership: 
partner with clients to achieve their strategic goals by creating relevant media content in the field of sustainability and climate-related issues (e.g., webinar, thought leadership articles, etc.)
Liaison: act as the key point of contact for clients, ensuring the flawless execution of deliverables, maintaining and expanding existing relationships
Content management: collaborate with internal teams to manage content, media distribution and optimize the client delivery process
Client support: ensure a seamless client experience, addressing any questions or concerns before, during, and after webinars
Coordination: coordinate all logistics for webinars, from scheduling to technical setup and post-event follow-up

What are we looking for?
• Client-focused experience - 
a proven track record in client-facing roles, ideally within media, events, or digital services
Efficient multitasker - a detail-oriented multitasker who excels at juggling multiple projects and tight deadlines
English and communication skills - excellent English speaking and writing skills, and exceptional communication skills with the ability to build and nurture strong client relationships

7. Sales Manager
Lead sales for our data SaaS platform by targeting potential clients through strategic marketing and networking at industry events. Manage the entire sales cycle from prospect engagement to deal closure, and work with internal teams to align strategies with company goals

What will you do?
• Sales lead: lead the sales efforts for our data SaaS platform, identifying and targeting potential clients through strategic marketing campaigns via email, phone, and direct messages
Business development: source new business opportunities by networking at industry conferences and events
• Product demonstration: conduct informational calls with prospects, showcasing the platform's features, and running product demos to illustrate its value
• Sales manager: manage the entire sales cycle, from initial engagement to closing deals, ensuring a smooth and effective process
• Collaboration: collaborate closely with internal teams to align sales strategies with broader company goals and market demands

What are we looking for?
Sales specialist - a results-driven sales professional with a minimum of 1-year experience in SaaS, who is passionate about building strong client relationships and driving business growth
Campaign strategist - proven ability to develop and execute successful marketing campaigns targeting potential clients through various channels

8. Social Media Jr Manager
Develop and implement illuminem’s social media strategy, including content creation and trend analysis to ensure high-quality, relevant output. Support growth management by analyzing metrics and collaborate with operations teams on sustainability-focused content like illuminem Voices and newsletters

What will you do?
Design and execute illuminem’s social media strategy:
support the strategy development for platforms such as Instagram, LinkedIn, and Twitter and aid in the creation of engaging and relevant content
Understand what matters: identify the key trends of the sector to guarantee top-notch content quality for our readers
• Contribute to growth management: play an important role in analyzing and monitoring our growth metrics, ensuring we meet ambitious targets
Facilitate inter-team operations: work closely with our Operations teams, contributing to the creation of impactful illuminem Voices, illuminem Briefings, and newsletters centered around sustainability

What are we looking for?
Reliability - immediately assume key responsibilities from Day 1, evidencing your dependability and capability in essential roles
Flexibility - lead actions across various fronts, from daily and recurrent operations to long-term strategic projects
• Education qualifications - a recent graduate from bachelor’s or master’s with a media, sustainability, or business background
Professional experience - possess experience in a fast-paced high-intensity environment 
Sustainability knowledge - demonstrate a understanding and passion for sustainability in your professional approach
• Sustainability Knowledge - demonstrate a deep understanding and passion for sustainability in your professional approach

9. Sustainability Writer
Lead content marketing by crafting storytelling pieces from proprietary data insights and producing high-quality content on sustainability and green technologies. Collaborate with clients and internal teams for information gathering, assist with marketing collateral, and stay updated on industry trends to enhance content quality

What will you do?
Content strategizing: lead content-based marketing efforts by creating story-telling pieces based on the insights generated by our proprietary data
Content creation: produce high-quality content on sustainability and green technologies across sectors (energy, transportation, industry, etc) and  topics (innovation, regulation, ESG, etc.)
• Collaboration: collaborate closely with our clients and internal teams to gather necessary information and insights for review and report development
Market collateral development: assist in creating and editing marketing collateral such as newsletters, website content, and social media posts
Trend monitoring: stay updated on industry trends and best practices to continuously improve content quality and relevance

What are we looking for?
• Experience - minimum 2 years in a role of copywriter or similar, preferably with a focus on sustainability, tech, or startups
Writing skills - strong writing and storytelling skills, with the ability to translate complex business and technological concepts into clear and engaging content
Research skills - excellent research skills and a keen interest in staying up-to-date with industry trends across sectors such as energy, transportation, and industry
Detail oriented - a detail-oriented editor with an eye for refining content, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and alignment with brand voice across all platforms, from newsletters to social media
• Adaptability - ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Education qualifications: bachelor's degree
• Language requirement: excellent written and spoken English skills
Willingness to be co-located in our Venice HQ at least 80% of the time
