Shanta Barley

Shanta Barley is the Chief Climate Scientist of Fortescue and Head of the Lethal Humidity Global Council, where she advocates for bold climate action, pushing for tougher targets and challenging the fossil fuel industry's policy influence. With expertise in climate science and risk communication, she also serves as an adjunct lecturer and honorary research fellow at the University of Western Australia. Shanta previously served as the Managing Editor of Minderoo Foundation and held various research and leadership positions.
