Sustainable Local Food Systems: A Look at the Issues, the Benefits, the Future
Everyone deserves a right to healthy, high quality, and nutritious food. The current situation of our national and even global food system, is failing to support this right. While unfortunately, big, industrial agriculture continues to dominate the farming and food industry, there seems to be a growing disconnect between where our food actually comes from and how it gets on our plates.
