Fungile Maphanga is an international development professional focused on evidence-based policymaking, environmental markets, and green industrial policy. Currently analysing the impact of regulation on emissions projects and the intersection of the Voluntary Carbon Market (VCM) with compliance frameworks such as Article 6 and CORSIA. Formerly with the World Bank’s Governance and Fragility team in Eastern and Southern Africa, and a contributor to Chatham House on democracy, governance, and civil unrest.
