Andrew Macintosh is a professor of environmental law and policy at the Centre for Environmental Markets, Australian National University. Regarded as one of Australia’s preeminent experts on carbon offsets, land sector carbon abatement, his research is cross-disciplinary, covering climate change mitigation, adaptation, and Australian environmental impact assessment processes. Prof. Macintosh currently chairs the Australian Emissions Reduction Assurance Committee and advises governments, corporations, and NGOs on environmental law and policy.
