Dr. Simon Sosvilla-Rivero is a Professor of Economics at Complutense University of Madrid and a Senior Researcher at the Complutense Institute of Economic Analysis (ICAE). He also contributes to the Insurance and Finance Risk Research Group at the University of Barcelona. His research interests include international financial markets, time series analysis, macroeconometric modelling, the welfare state, and European integration. He holds a PhD in Economics from the University of Birmingham, following Master’s degrees from the London School of Economics and the Autonomous University of Barcelona.
