Mustafa Suleyman

Mustafa Suleyman is the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Microsoft AI. He previously co-founded and served as the Head of Applied AI at DeepMind—a venture dedicated to the research and development of machine learning and artificial intelligence solutions that was acquired by Google in 2014. He also served as the Vice President of AI Product Management & AI Policy at Google, and as a Non-Executive Director at The Economist. His latest work, The Coming Wave, co-authored with Michael Bhaskar, explores how the convergence of artificial intelligence and biotechnology generates immense power while presenting unprecedented challenges for global governance.
