Michiel Scheffer

Michiel Scheffer is a Dutch innovation leader with experience across business, academia, and public policy. He is Founder and CEO of Polisema BV, advising and investing in startups across technology, materials, and energy, and previously led Noéton Policy in Innovation. He has held regional government roles in the Netherlands, including as Minister of Gelderland, and has worked extensively on EU-funded innovation programmes. Michiel holds a PhD from Utrecht University and has published widely on innovation and economic transformation.
