Michael Bhaskar

Michael Bhaskar is the Strategy & Communications Lead at Microsoft AI Futures division and is a writer for The Guardian, The Financial Times, Wired, and The Daily Telegraph. He previously served as Writer in Residence at DeepMind and is the author of The Content Machine, Curation, and Human Frontiers. In his most recent book, The Coming Wave— an award-winning New York Times bestseller—Michael Bhaskar and co-author Mustafa Suleyman examine how the intersection of AI and biotech creates extraordinary capabilities while simultaneously posing unique, complex hurdles for international regulation and oversight. He holds a degree in English Literature from the University of Oxford and was awarded the University Gibbs Prize.
