Ellen Fungisai Chipango is a Research Fellow at the University of Johannesburg, one of Africa’s leading research universities. Her work focuses on energy and environmental justice, political ecology, and gender dynamics in energy access and rural development. She holds a PhD in Development Studies from the University of Johannesburg and was awarded the African Pathways NIHSS-CODESRIA Doctoral Scholarship for her research on energy justice and policy processes.
