Bart De Wever

Bart De Wever is the Prime Minister of Belgium, having taken office in February 2025. He previously served as Mayor of Antwerp and as long-standing Chairman of the New Flemish Alliance (N-VA), which he helped establish as the largest political party in Flanders. Trained as a historian at the University of Antwerp and KU Leuven, he began his career in academia before entering national politics. His political work focuses on governance, institutional reform, and socio-economic policy within a conservative and economically liberal framework.
